Afternoon tea is enjoying a resurgence. It’s thought that the 7th Duchess of Bedford, who lived in neighbouring Woburn, was responsible for its introduction in the early 19th century. We’ve been serving the Teapots Special Afternoon Tea for some time now and it’s very, very popular.
Come along and enjoy a delicious selection of teas, exceptional home baking, scones and delicious finger sandwiches in relaxed and comfortable surroundings. We also cater for anyone with a food intolerance.
To make sure everything’s just right for you, and because everything’s individually made, it’s best to book in advance, although we will always try and fit you in at short notice.

Here are some of the comments from our customers……….…………………. we have indulged in a fair few teas in our time from grand country house hotels, Claridges to Raffles but we agreed that yours ranks as the most memorable as everything was so very perfectly presented , dainty and delicious!
……………….Please convey our thanks to Teapots. The tea was equal to that at The Ritz, and better (in our opinion) than at The Dorchester.
