About Teapots

Teapots is  a traditional tea room in the market town of Olney in Buckinghamshire. We’re a family business and we serve a wide selection of tea and coffee and offer probably one of the finest selections of good old fashioned home baked cakes. 

 

We also offer gluten free, dairy free, wheat free in fact we try and cater for any food intolerance. We’ve had some great feedback from customers who appreciate the choices that we offer.

 

We also serve light lunches; a range of jacket potatoes, home made egg and bacon pie, cottage pie  etc -  look out for our specials’ board where  seasonal dishes are always available.

 

Every order is freshly made and we make all our cakes, scones, soup ourselves on the premises. We support the local community by sourcing our ingredients locally for example the eggs are free range from neighbouring Ravenstone, the fruit and vegetables are from Parkin’s the local green grocer and the bread is from the local bakers.

 

As well as the annual Pancake Race, Olney is famous for a number of other things such as the Olney Hymns and its lace making. There are plenty of interesting places to visit in and around the town such as the Cowper and Newton museum, the antique shops and the parish church of St Peter and St Paul.

 

We can accommodate small parties by arrangement and our upstairs tearoom can be made available for private functions.
